Compare our quality...
We can truly say that all of our racks are crafted to
strict tolerances and built using superior machined wood,
aesthetically appealing components, old world
craftsmanship, and classic beauty. But to be more specific,
our highest quality racks have the following:
-
Wood pieces generously cut to 11/16 inch giving a
more robust, full look to the racking
-
Cut wood edges that come into contact with bottles
are rounded using a radius of 3/32 inch
-
Horizontal spacer bars are normally set at every 3
bottle spaces and made to flow seamlessly from one storage type to
another which gives a clean, flowing visual line
-
Standard racking is 13" deep to fully protect the
neck of most standard bottles
-
Display rows do not exceed 15 degrees. This
enables all air in the bottle to be contained in the "shoulder", and
keeps the corks wet for proper long term storage.
-
Transition from one storage type to another (e.g.,
individual bottle to rectangular bin) is customized for a clean,
inconspicuous change (as opposed to wine racking modular kits and
and some "custom" racking). There is not an obvious break in
the racking.
-
Glued material (e.g., table tops, diamond bin,
cabinet shelf) is matched by hand to blend the panels together.
When working with wood, there will always be some change, but the
next available boards are not just grabbed and glued together.
